The Life Society at NUI Galway is organising a conference and other events to take place in the final week of February: 21st to 26th.
Monday to Thursday’s events will be aimed at both Life Society members, NUI Galway students and the general public.
Events include:
 
- Round table discussion on the topic “Is abortion really a religious issue?”. In conjunction with Muslim Youth Society, Human Rights Society, Christian Union, Skeptics Society, Baha’i Society.
- Presentation on “Legal implications of the ECHR ruling in the ABC case”. This will be co-hosted with the Law Society.
- Talk on “Ethical Stem Cell Research”.
- Testimonies from women affected by abortion.
